Holy Name of Jesus Church will host a series of events this weekend to mark the end of its yearlong centennial celebration.
The celebration, which began in June 2023, will culminate on Saturday with a special Mass and blessing of a new altar.
"Holy Name of Jesus has been open for over a hundred years and we look forward to celebrating the next hundred," said Matthew Ferri.
Bishop Frank Caggiano will preside over the Mass and blessing of the altar, which was shipped from a convent in France. The altar dates back to the same period as the church and was a gift from a parishioner.
The public is invited to attend the closing events of the centennial anniversary celebration.
