The Paradice Cream ice cream shop in Stratford is rewarding students for their resilience with an ice cream treat before their last day of school.

Located on Paradise Green, the shop opened early today, so the students can come out and partake before they catch the bus to school one last time this year.

The owner began this event in 2019 before the pandemic.

The owner says a friend of hers would treat their kids to ice cream before their last day of school, so she decided to do the same at her shop.

She hopes it will become a yearly event.
