The annual Latin Music Festival will take place this weekend in Stratford.
The festival will take place on Sunday from 12-6 p.m. on Paradise Green.
The event features Dominican, Puerto Rican and Salsa dancers as well as Latin cuisine.
This year's theme is Unidos, which means united - to unite Spanish-speaking people.
It's an event that started out small in Gladys Ramos' Spanish classes at Saint James and Saint Mark's 17 years ago.
Fast forward to today, and the festival has transformed into a big community event put on by the Stratford Hispanic Heritage Committee to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
Ramos says proceeds from sales of pina coladas will go toward the committee's scholarship fund.
The rain date is Sept. 25.
