A Stratford micro-brewery is celebrating one year of successful business thanks to their unique brews.
Fairfield Craft Ales specializes in making small batches of beer inspired by popular music. Their brews have names based off of well-known songs like “Brown Eyed Girl” and “Twist and Stout.”
“The past year has been quite a ride, from the time that we started pulling everything together from the time that we opened until now,” says co-owner Mike Borruso. ”It's just been a constant build, it's been exciting.”
The owners say they have had their brews sold in 12 different bars between Milford and Norwalk.
The micro-brewery is located on Honeyspot Road and has a bar open to the public.
