Officials are warning residents in Stratford that they may be waking up with discolored water on Wednesday.

Aquarion has scheduled a valve replacement in the area of Main Street and Woodened Road between 11 p.m. Tuesday until 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Residents and businesses in the area are expected to be directly affected.

Aquarion recommends that those in the area delay washing laundry and using drinking and cooking water until the replacement is complete.
