Seniors at Stratford's two high schools donned their caps and gowns and visited their former elementary schools before their graduation Wednesday evening.
The so-called Senior Walk began last year.
As seniors from Stratford and Bunnell high schools stroll through the halls, younger students line the edges, cheer them on and offer high fives.
Teachers at Chapel Street Elementary School say it's rewarding to see their former students grow up.
"It's so amazing to see these kids graduate, where I had them as first-graders, as little babies," says Sara Soto, a teacher there. "I feel like they could barely read, and now they're going off to college."
