Police say a bullet shattered the front window of a family's home in Stamford in the middle of the day Thursday.
Police say there were three people inside the Dale Street home when a man began shooting at another man outside.
No one in the home suffered any injuries, police say, and neither did the intended target.
Police say they arrested the suspect nearby. He had recently received a valid pistol permit, they say.
