More than 20 Bridgeport campers and their counselor are recovering after they were attacked by wasps on a Stamford nature trail. The campers, on a day trip from Camp Agape, were hiking along a trail at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center when the insects flew out of an underground nest. A counselor was hospitalized after receiving multiple stings, but has since been released. Will Kies, the center's director, says the nest was taken care of and called the attack an isolated incident. The trail has been temporarily closed. No campers were injured.
