Students in the borough are dedicating themselves to sweeping up crime in the community.
Dozens of students gathered at the corner of Baychester Avenue and Boston Road dressed in orange today to show their support of Gun Awareness Month.
The students, who were carrying brooms, joined Councilman Andy King and said that it's time to clean up crime in the borough and get guns off the street.
King and the students say they hope for better relationships among the community, police and elected officials.
