Students thank Grade A Market workers for keeping families fed amid pandemic
About 35 students from Catholic Academy of Stamford spent
time Thursday putting together care packages for the more than 125 employees at
Grade A Market, along with a note thanking them for their work during the
pandemic.
The sixth-grade students say it's the least they could do
after the employees worked so hard to keep their families fed during a tough
time.
Kush Malhotra, the store manager, said their thank you
notes “means a lot to all the grocery store workers.”
Catholic Academy students in each class take on a different
service project every month. The sixth graders will be starting their next
project in a few weeks.
