A new study from AAA names Connecticut one of the hardest working states in the U.S., and the agency wants people in the state to take some well-deserved time off.
According to AAA partner “Project: Time Off," 55 percent of residents leave vacation days on the table every year.
The percentage equates to 6.5 million unused vacation days.
The figure also ranks Connecticut in 22nd place on the list of states whose employees have the most unused vacation time.
Idaho ranks number one.
To bring attention to the plight of American workers, AAA proposes taking a break and celebrating "National Plan for Vacation Day" today to prioritize vacation planning.
