It's starting to feel a lot like summer out there.
The heat and humidity is on the rise, and many Bronx residents are getting outdoors to take advantage of it. Families in Morris Park soaked up the sun Tuesday, while teens were out playing basketball and even a little bocce ball.
Most say the warm sun is a great change compared to last week's stormy wet weather. After one of the more brutal winters in recent memory, residents say humid or not, they are just happy to be able to enjoy the outdoors.
Temperatures are expected to be in the high 80s and 90s throughout the week. The first official day of summer is less than a week away.
