News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Steve Teeling says Saturday will be cloudy and cold with a few light snow showers in the afternoon.
NOW AND NEW: Temperatures will continue to drop overnight with lows in the teens. Wind chills will be in the single numbers. Saturday will be cloudy and there will be some flurries and snow showers scattered across the region. A dusting or coating is possible in some spots.
NEXT: Monday and Tuesday could bring the next storm system. It looks like snow will break out later Monday afternoon and transition to a wintry mix Monday night into Tuesday. It will probably change to rain along coastal areas, but the exact track still needs to be determined.
OVERNIGHT: Clear skies early with clouds moving in by morning. Brisk and cold. Low of 18.
SATURDAY: Cloudy and cold with some flurries or light snow showers. A dusting possible. High of 28.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few flurries. High of 44.
MONDAY: Becoming cloudy with snow developing in the later afternoon. High of 39. Snow, a wintry mix and rain likely at night.
TUESDAY: Wintry mix to rain at the coast with a wintry mix inland. High of 41.
