Near record temperatures for western CT Wednesday and Thursday

The humidity for Wednesday will also start to climb, with temperatures reaching the 80s.
The air quality for Wednesday is bad for sensitive groups, with wildfire smoke from western Canada moving overhead again tonight.
This will create a hazier appearance to the sky tonight and Wednesday.
Pollen levels will stay steady and in the higher range through this week.
Showers and thunderstorms creep back into the picture starting Thursday.
There is another chance on Friday and then some late day showers and storms on Saturday.
This will break the high heat, with temperatures returning to normal over the weekend and through next week.
