Trumbull Public Schools students will at least have to start the year wearing masks, the superintendent said in a letter to parents Friday.
He cited an executive order from the state's Department of Education and the Department of Public Health.
It follows current Centers for Disease Control guidance, which says both those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated should wear masks.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance says that masks be worn in schools.
Gov. Ned Lamont hasn't given guidance or issued a mandate for the state yet.
