Hundreds of rallygoers took to the streets of Stamford Monday to show their support for Israel and to take a stand against antisemitism.

Participants say it was important to take part in the march down Washington Avenue to the Government Center after several difficult weeks watching both the violence in the Middle East and an outbreak of antisemitic incidents in the U.S.

Organizers had told participants not to engage with counter protesters, but no organized opposition appeared during the rally.
