Police say they have arrested the man responsible for the death of a Stamford teen that sparked gang violence throughout the city in 2006.Officials say 22-year-old Renel Domond fatally shot 19-year-old Flanagaine Joseph on Stillwater Avenue in January 2006. A 15-year-old boy was also wounded during the incident.The murder led to months of violence between gangs from rival housing complexes including stabbings, gunfights and a riot outside a funeral home after Joseph's wake.Police say the break in the case came from people who were originally reluctant to speak.Domond was in an upstate prison on narcotics charges. He has been charged with murder and first-degree assault and is being held on $1 million bail. Domond is due back in court next week.
