Norwalk police say a New Jersey man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a cab driver to death earlier this week.
Police have charged Ramiro Arcos-Garcia, 32, in connection with the death of 51-year-old Jackson Pierre-Louis.
According to police, Pierre-Louis was stabbed to death in his own cab early Monday morning on Grove Street in Norwalk. They say the incident wasn't a random act and that the two men knew each other.
Officials say Acros-Garcia claimed in a confession that Pierre-Louis tried to hug and kiss him, and a fight ensued when he rejected the driver's alleged advances. However, police have not said what they believe motivated the attack.
Acros-Garcia is due back in court at the end of the month.
