A suspect in a 31-year-old cold case has died, leaving the alleged victim's family with unanswered questions.

James Aaron, the only suspect in April Grisanti's 1985 death, died on Oct. 10.

Officials say Grisanti was last seen alive at a Norwalk establishment that was originally named Anthony's Bar. It's now called Tucker's Cafe.

They say while Grisanti was leaving the bar, Aaron forced her into his car and drove off. She was never found.

Aaron was convicted of kidnapping Grisanti and served five and a half years in prison. Police say they believe he killed her, but there was not enough evidence to prosecute him.

Aaron was also a suspect in the death of his wife, Mary Aaron, in 1981. Her body investigators found decomposing in the woods near a parking lot on Route 123 near the Merritt Parkway.

Grisanti's sister says she hopes someone who knows something about the case will come forward now that Aaron is dead.
