The two men charged in connection with the murder of a Stamford man reportedly waived their court appearances scheduled for Monday.
According to WABC, Lawrence Dilione and James Rackover did not appear, and no new charges were filed.
As News 12 has reported, the two suspects are facing lesser charges in the death of 26-year-old Joseph Comunale last week in New York City. Prosecutors say murder charges are pending. Dilion and Rackover are charged with hindering an investigation and illegally disposing a body.
Police say Comunale was stabbed 15 times and then buried in a vacant lot in Oceanport, New Jersey.
He was last seen on surveillance video entering an apartment building in midtown Manhattan where Rackover lives.
Police have not released a motive.
