There's still time to sign up for Saturday's Swim Across America event in Stamford.
Around 200 people are expected to take part in the event. Participants will swim in Dolphin Cove.
The swim is one of 26 happening across the country this year. The annual fundraiser started in the Florida Keys in April and will end in San Francisco Bay in October.
Money raised will help fund cancer research.
