The Sacred Heart men's ice hockey team is the News 12 Connecticut Team of the Week sponsored by the Hospital for Special Surgery.

The Pioneers battle for state supremacy this weekend in the fourth annual CT Ice tournament.

C.J. Marratolo's squad ranks first in the country in penalty minutes per game.

Yale, UConn and defending national champion Quinnipiac will also take part in this weekend's tournament.

Sacred Heart won the inaugural CT Ice tournament back in 2020.
