Seven-to-ten-foot animated figures now run between $100 and $300. Hanging decorations range from $35 to $50.

Party costs are also rising. Grocery prices are up 3%, and soda prices have nearly doubled since 2018.

Experts suggest using regular plates and cups, buying store-brand candy, and planning early for next year to save.
