8h agoStudent artists in Fairfield are using art to tell the story of their town's history.
The Fairfield Arts Commission hosted an art show and reception for their Artistic Vision Challenge Art Show at the Fairfield Public Library earlier this week.
The challenge was a townwide competition for young artists ages 11-18.
Artists were asked to design and create art that makes a statement about the town's history and incorporate the letters in Fairfield in a fun and create way.
As part of the challenge, the students' work was displayed at the Fairfield Public Library for several weeks.
Cash prizes were awarded to work in multiple categories.
