Greenwich police are warning people to be alert after a car was stolen from a gas station.

The incident occurred Sunday at the Sunoco gas station on East Putnam Avenue and Indian Field Road.

According to police, the victim had just filled up his car and went inside the store.

While he was inside, thieves pulled up in another vehicle, and one person jumped into his car and drove off.
