In a press conference from Hartford, Secretary of The State Stephanie Thomas says so far voting in the state has been fairly smooth with only a few minor issues.
Thomas said that they have been able to handle them with no interruptions in voting.
Thomas said municipal election turnout is usually around 33% but hopes the turnout will be higher this year and encouraged voters to get out and vote in this year's municipal election
"Every single town across CT is different and it becomes easy for voters to become overwhelmed but here at the Secretary of The State’s office we have you covered," said Thomas. "if you don't know what's on your ballot or how to go about voting or how to register you can go to our website at myvote.ct.gov to get all the information you need including sample ballots and a 2025 voters' guide."
