Thomaston HS students wins at National Invention Convention

A student at Thomaston High School got third place for the junior class at the National Invention Convention in Michigan.

A student at Thomaston High School got third place for the junior class at the National Invention Convention in Michigan.
Alexander Thornberg received a medal and certificate for his work.
Thornberg's invention was for highway safety and tire re-use, using old tires for cushioning on cement Jersey barriers, recycling the tires and improving the safety of the barriers.
Hundreds of students competed in the STEM challenge.
