State officials are asking people to be kind to other this week.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal says today is the start of Acts of Kindness week in Connecticut.
It all leads up to the anniversary of the Sandy Hook shootings next Monday.
Blumenthal says people can share their acts of kindness on social media with #honorwithaction.
