A Torrington man is being held on $750,000 bond after police say he abused a woman multiple times over a period of days.

They say Cedric Brown, 50, assaulted the victim both physically and sexually.

He's also charged with keeping her from leaving or calling for help. They say she finally got away and made her way to the police department.

Police say Brown and the victim knew each other.
