Two Torrington men arrested for manslaughter in Harwinton pedestrian death
yesterdayA Torrington teen was stabbed and is in critical condition, police say.
The 17-year-old was found stabbed and slashed in the stomach Sunday at 330 Highland Ave. around 1:50 p.m.
Police say the juvenile was transported to Waterbury Hospital where he underwent a four-hour surgery before being placed in the ICU.
Police say he is scheduled to be transferred to either CCMC or Yale New Haven Hospital for continued treatment.
Police say David Cruz, 28, was arrested and charged with assault.
Cruz is being held on a $500,000 bond and is expected to be arraigned today.
