Toxic floors have forced a New Canaan school to shut down its auditorium.
The superintendent says the auditorium at Saxe Middle School will remain closed for the remainder of the school year.
An environmental consultant found PCBs in the paint used on the floors.
The district says it is closing the area as a precaution, and the chemicals will be removed this summer.
