UPDATE 2:15 p.m.: Gov. Lamont says the ban has been lifted.
Gov. Lamont has implemented a tractor-trailer ban on limited access highways.
This applies to tandem tractor-trailers and empty tractor-trailers.
The ban is being implemented with neighboring states New York and Massachusetts as well.
It is in effect until further notice.
