A traveling memorial honoring fallen police officers across the country made its way through Connecticut, paying tribute to those who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2022 and 2023.
The memorial's first stop in the state was in Bristol, where it honored fallen officers Lt. Dustin Demonte and Sgt. Alex Hamzy.
The two were shot and killed in an ambush while responding to a call at a home in October 2022.
The memorial has traveled extensively across the country and will continue its journey to New York and Pennsylvania after its stop in New Haven.
