Some Milford residents are not happy after a few trees and bushes were removed from an area they consider to be a small park.Last week, trees and bushes near East Avenue off Summer Place were removed in order to begin the process of widening the road. This left some area homeowners concerned.
However, Milford Mayor James Richetelli says the plot of land belongs to the city and isn?t even a park.
Richetelli claims it?s difficult to get big equipment in and out of the area, especially snow plows and fire trucks. He claims there is not a correct turning radius, which is why the work is being done.
