Career resource centers are reporting an increase of high-income professionals seeking assistance.
Joe Carbon, president of The Workplace Inc., says he?s seeing professionals come in for help who used to be making upwards of $120,000 a year.
According to Carbone, the professionals, typically from the financial industry, have come in seeking everything from career counseling to new job opportunities. A number of out-of-work professionals are switching careers into fields such as teaching.
?Things are different,? he says. ?Companies are not as generous.?
