Starving dog found abandoned in Marlboro

State police say they found a horse in the roadway on Route 15 southbound in the area of Exit 9 in Stamford Tuesday morning.

Troopers say they led the horse to the grass by the Guinea Road overpass.

They contacted a local barn, and it confirmed to be the owner who retrieved the horse.
