State police responded to multiple accidents in Fairfield after midnight.
Troopers say there were two different crashes on the northbound side of I-95 between exits 21 and 22.
They say one involved a car and a tractor-trailer.
The other accident was a car that lost control and hit the guardrail.
They say the driver was taken to the hospital.
