Drivers of large trucks are sounding an alarm about aggressive motorists on southwestern Connecticut highways.
Ari Ellenbogan responds to wrecks for the city of Norwalk, but has narrowly missed crashes himself because of aggressive drivers. In dashboard video provided Ellenbogan, a driver can be seen suddenly cutting between Ellenbogan and another truck.
"One wrong move there and that car would easily become a sandwich," he says.
State police say the problem is getting worse on Connecticut's highways, and they're struggling to keep up.
"More troopers out there on the road to enforce these laws and cooperation that we already currently have with the Department of Transportation, I think, is a good start," says Connecticut State Police Lt. Ken Cain.
With their limited manpower, state police say it is mostly up to drivers to police themselves.
