Trumbull High School officials say classes will go on as scheduled this morning after rumors of a potential threat were dispelled.

In a letter to parents, the school's principal says rumors started circulating throughout school and on social media at the end of the school day.

However, the letter says police spoke with the apparent parties involved and determined the rumors are unfounded, and no threat exists.
