Dozens of families who may not have had a Thanksgiving Day turkey will get one thanks to an annual turkey drive.
The S.S. Norden Club in Bridgeport's Black Rock neighborhood held its third turkey drive. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut) was on hand to greet donors who dropped off turkeys, and everyone who donated received a roast beef sandwich.
"This kind of giving back is what makes Connecticut great," said Blumenthal.
Organizers said the turkeys will feed families in Bridgeport and Norwalk. The turkeys will be distributed this week at Webster Bank Arena.
