Two students at Norwalk High School were suspended after an e-mail they sent spread fear throughout the community.
Word around the school was if students didn?t wear red or black clothing on Thursday they would be harmed. The school?s principal says two students did send out a memo saying to wear red and black, but he says there was never any threat.
The rumors only heightened concern among parents, many of which were already uneasy after Tuesday night?s shooting at Meadow Gardens housing project that killed 17-year-old Jeffrey Coward. However, school officials and police say the incident had nothing to do with the memo.
