Two earthquakes occurred Sunday morning near Moodus in central Connecticut, according to the United State Geographical Survey.

The first occurred at 8:21 a.m. and was a magnitude 2.1 earthquake. The second earthquake at 8:26 a.m. was magnitude 1.9.

These were relatively minor quakes, with no reports of any damage so far.
