Authorities say a 22-year-old UConn student is facing criminal charges after he phoned in a bogus threat of three suspicious men carrying large bags into a classroom on campus.
Police say Nicolas Ryan has been charged with falsely reporting an incident and breach of peace.
They say the incident was all in an attempt by Ryan to get out of attending class.
Law enforcement responded to the building and quickly determined there was no threat.
