Students and staff at the University of Bridgeport have a new place to turn to during tough times.
The school is offering the services of a therapy dog. Dani will visit the university every other Tuesday for the rest of the school year.
The idea is part of a national trend in schools to find new ways to help students cope with stress.
School officials are encouraging students, staff and faculty to pet Dani when she comes around. Dani also visits other schools and hospitals around Connecticut.
