Storm Watch Team meteorologist Michele Powers says record-breaking temperatures will continue throughout the weekend with some light rain in the forecast for Sunday.
Cooler and drier air will settle in Election Day and hang on through the middle of the week.
SUNDAY: Variable Cloudiness. Chance of a shower in spots. Highs 70-75
MONDAY: Chance of a morning shower, otherwise partly sunny. Still warm. Highs in the middle-70s
TUESDAY/ ELECTION DAY: Mixed sun and clouds. Breezy and noticeably cooler. Highs 55-60.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly Sunny. Seasonably cool. Highs in the middle-50s.
THURSDAY: Sun gives way to increasing clouds. Highs 55-60.
FRIDAY: Rain likely. Highs 60-65.
