Bridgeport officials got the word out Sunday about a community meeting that will address any questions people may have on the new Bassick High School in the South End.
The meeting will take place Tuesday at Cathedral of Praise at 45 Gregory St.
"All the officials that need to be here are going to be here for their voice to be heard," said Pastor Michon White-Bernard, of the Cathedral of Praise. "We have people from the traffic department, we have the police department that will be represented, the city, so we want the community to have a voice in it also."
"We are thrilled to support our children and our families in this community. The superintendent and his staff will be here to answer any questions of concern on traffic, busing and parking," said Bridgeport City Council Member Jeanette Herron.
Bridgeport Public Schools' first day of school will be Aug. 28.
