A vigil was held Thursday for a Bridgeport health care worker who was killed in a car crash.
Jennylizz Rodriguez, 39, was killed when the car she was a passenger in was struck by another vehicle around 1 a.m.
on June 9 at Jane and Brooks streets in the city.
Rodriguez's mother, Lissette Morales, spent Thursday building a memorial as a tribute to her daughter.
Morales says her daughter was a local health care worker who leaves behind three children and a legacy of love.
"You will never be the same after losing your daughter," said Morales.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them.
