Bronx residents want something done about the state of the waterfront Clasons Point Park, where they say piles of garbage are blocking the pathways, and the trash bins are overflowing.
Despite the signs telling park goers to throw the litter in waste baskets, the trash, as well as the occasional dead bird, is strewn about everywhere.
Visitors also point out that there are no public bathrooms in sight, and some park goers are forced to find alternatives, like going to a nearby wooded area or using a bucket as a makeshift toilet.
?The people here they're not pigs,? says visitor Efrein Correa. ?They're decent people that come here, they're clean people, and they want to keep the park clean.?
