Today will be one of those “warm” March days, with a sharp temperature contrast between the shoreline and inland areas. Along the I-84 corridor, temperatures could reach 65 degrees, while coastal areas remain much cooler in the 40s.
Thursday is the Vernal Equinox, or the first day of Spring. Unfortunately, the day looks mostly cloudy with a few showers or sprinkles. The marine air will move inland during the day.
There will be a line of rain and gusty storms late at night, heading into early Friday. This line of rain could bring about a half inch up to 1" of much needed rain. Cooler air will follow so not only will rain be something to watch for, but we could also see a few flakes early Friday morning as well!
