The toy shop opened in May of 2008.
The store closed its doors on March 12 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“It was hard for about three months. Very, very hard, I’m sure, for everybody,” said Bill Jensen, chief toy man.
Jensen says since a lot of people were working from home, many people have been looking for puzzles. LEGO toys are also a hot ticket item.
Darien Toy Box is located on Boston Post Road.
